Pressing the “Space” key will change the function keys to other choices.
•
All of these functions will be used.
IMPORTANT: The Demo and Frame functions WILL cause the table/gantry to
move. Verify that the head and torch will not contact material or tools and that all persons
around the machine are clear and away from the table.

Start with F3 “Frame”. This function is direct acting. The gantry WILL start to move when the
F3 key is pressed. F3 will frame the area that the part will be cut from. This is a general box
that the part will fit in.

Next is F2 “Demo”. This function is direct acting. The gantry WILL start to move when the F2
key is pressed. F2 will run the program as a test. The head will move to all of the cut
positions and paths, however, it will not send a signal to start the plasma torch. No cutting
will happen.

The other function keys on this screen will make changes to the operating parameters as
labeled.
•
Once the settings have been completed, place test material on the table.
•
Load a file to test cut.
