BASIC / QUICK CONTROLLER OPERATION
General Commands
Note: This is
a quick overview. Refer to
book two for a more
detailed explanation of the
controller operation and
other more detailed
functions.
•
The basic HOME screen will be similar to what
appears above. The [M] line will be “Plasma
Cut”; the last item cut will be in the display, and the last settings for that cut will be displayed.
•
The system will remember and operate based upon the last saved parameters.
•
When navigating around the screens,
the “ESC” key will move back one screen at a time.
The “ESC” key will also cancel any entry made to a parameter setting.
•
The RED dots are normal and indicate that the function is not being used at this time. The
dot will turn Green when a function is active.
•
The numbers and letters inside of the “
[ brackets ]
” may be pressed for direct access to that
parameter. Example: Pressing the letter “X” from this screen will open a dialog box that will
allow direct entry of a new cutting speed.
