The function (“F keys”) are used to operate the system. Access files, change operator
setting, and tune operation.
•
Pressing the “SPACE” key will change the function (“F keys”) to display more cutting options.
•
When making changes to parameters, be sure to save the change. T
his is typically the “F8”
key. “ESC” will cancel the change.
•
The “Arrow” keys move the gantry around the table. The “Arrow” keys are also used to
navigate around the parameter setting fields.
•
The “S
↑
” and the “S
↓
” key are used to raise and lower the torch.
General Operation Steps
Note: Always observe the screen messages, settings, and Function key labels.
•
Power On. When the Logo screen appears, press the Enter key.
•
Choose location for the program to be run from. Shape Library [F1], or File [F2]. File may be
already stored on the controller or from a USB Disk.
•
From the Shapes Library, use the arrow keys to navigate to the desired shape and press the
F8 Ok key. Change the dimensions as desired and press F8 to save the settings.
•
From the “Home” screen, press F4 to enter the settings pages. In the settings pages, F1
“Common” and F3 “Plasma” are typical screens for operational changes. The other screens
are not used or do not normally have settings that should be changed.
