ADDITIONAL HEALTH HAZARDS

Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and other construction activities
contain chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm.  Some
examples of these chemicals are:

  Lead from lead based paint.

Crystalline silica from bricks, cement, and other masonry products.

Arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.

wet grind or polish. Never use a stream of water on the piece part. Only quench the

piece part in water to cool it.

3.

grind or polish magnesium as it may catch on fire.

4.  Make sure table locking knob is always tight.

5.  Remove electrical plug from power source outlet when adjusting table, changing discs, or

removing or adjusting platen.

CAUTION:

Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how

often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals, work in
a well-ventilated area, and work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust
masks that are specifically designed to filter out microscopic particles.
