4.2  Assembly with the valve

Prior to assembly, check that:

 

● the operating conditions comply to the specifications of the linear actuator. 

 

●

the valve is complete (yoke on actuator or on valve). 

 

●

the connections on valve and actuator match. 

The linear actuator is supplied with the spindle retracted.

A slight adjustment for fitting of the coupling can be carried out by turning the spindle.

Ensure that the connecting rod of the actuator and the valve spindle are correctly aligned. 

Misalignment can lead to power loss and premature wear. 

When supplied with integrated potentiometer assembly, adjustment of the assembly may be 

necessary.
