Apply glue to rafters where gusset will attach

and keeping rafters firm as instructed.
Secure gusset using one 1-5/8" screw into each rafter.
HINT:
These screws will help hold the measurements
when you nail on gussets.
Use (12) 2" nails to finish securing the gusset to the rafters to pattern shown in
Fig. C
