5. Check that the harness straps are located
at the proper height for your child.
The
Rear-Facing
proper height of the
harness straps is at or just below your
child’s shoulders (Fig. 50a).
The
Forward-Facing
proper height of
the harness straps is at or just above your
child’s shoulders (Fig. 50b).
(See section 5.10 Harness Shoulder
Height Adjustments).
6. Place harness straps over the child’s
shoulders.
NOTE:
Harness covers are required
for all harness modes expect for low
birthweight routing
(Fig. 50c).
7. The car seat has been safety tested
with the harness covers, body insert and
pillow that are included with this car seat
(Fig. 50d).
DO NOT
use pillow if child’s head falls
forward.
