9 Make sure LATCH strap goes under the
belt guides.
10 Press down firmly on the top of the
base while pulling on the free end of
the LATCH strap to remove all of the
slack.
Do not pull on the strap with excessive
force.
11 Shut the RAPIDLOCK
TM
lock-off on top
of the LATCH strap. You may also shut
the
lock-off on top of the loose end of
the LATCH strap as well.
Close the lock-off until you hear a
“CLICK”.
WARNING:
Keep hands away from
the lock-off area when closing the
lock-off.
12 Test for tightness. Grab the sides of the
base where the LATCH strap is and
push and pull the base from side to
side and front to back.
If the base moves less than 1” (2.5 cm),
it is tight enough.
