Floor Scale Installation Manual

Load Cell Replacement

If a load cell should need replaced, verify the part number with the spare parts list in this manual. Replacement cells

should be of the same capacity of the cell that is being replaced, as well as of the other cells in the scale.

Lift the scale platform using lifting eyes, fork lift, or hydraulic jack. As a precaution against the platform dropping, place

wooden blocking or something similar underneath when working on the cell replacement.

Disconnect the wire leads from the summing board of the load cell being replaced. Pull the load cell cable from the

summing board location and out of the understructure of the scale.

With the cable freed, remove the leveling foot and the two mounting bolts from the load cell.

Prior to bolting the new load cell in place, route the cable back through the scale understructure and reconnect the wire

leads to the summing board.

Torque the mounting bolts per the following chart:
