2.6. Indications
Inability or severely impaired ability to walk due to
•
paralysis
•
loss of limb
•
defect/deformity of limb
•
joint contracture
•
joint damage (not in both arms)
•
other diseases
The provision of an electric wheelchair is indicated if the use of a hand-
driven wheelchair is no longer possible but the proper operation of an
electric drive is possible.
2.7. Contraindication
The provision of an electric wheelchair is unsuitable for persons
•
with severe balance disorders
•
with impaired or insufficient vision
•
with strongly impaired cognitive abilities
2.8. Declaration of conformity
B+B as the manufacturer declares under its sole responsibility that
the electric wheelchair complies with the requirements of Directive
93/42/EEC and ISO 7176-14:2008.
2.9. Service life
If used as intended, and the safety, care and maintenance instructions
are observed, the expected service life is up to 5 years. Beyond this
time the electric wheelchair can be used continuously, provided it is in
a safe condition.

The range of the electric wheelchair
Taiga is 35 km.
The range that can
be achieved by electric wheelchairs depends on the following factors:

Way of driving

Battery condition
•
Vehicle load weight
•
Ambient temperature
Driving on inclines has a negative effect on the range.
Please note that the range specified by us was determined under test
conditions:

Level, firm surface

Constant speed
