Chapter 5 Uninstalling the Modem
Uninstalling the Modem
This chapter contains information on uninstalling the modem and the files that it
generated.
There are a few ways to uninstall the modem. Please do
either one
of the
following to uninstall the modem:
1.
Insert the Installation CD into the CD-ROM drive and double-click on the
file "DEINSTAU.EXE" from the root directory of the CD.
2.
If the modem has been installed successfully, the file "DEINSTAU.EXE
can be found in the folder "EM6800-U Modem Information", by clicking
the
Start
button on the taskbar and selecting
Programs
.
3.
The file "DEINSTAU.EXE can also be found in the Windows directory.
4.
The modem can also be uninstalled from the Control Panel's
Add/
Remove Programs
.
Click the
Start
button on the taskbar and then select
Settings
and click on
Control Panel
. Double-click on
Add/Remove Programs
and select
EM6800-U External Modem Files
and click the
Add/Remove...
button.
