1-4. Nameplate

A nameplate, as shown in Fig. 1-3, is attached to each control valve. The nameplate indicates
the model number, valve size, pressure rating, trim material, date of manufacture and other
major specifications of the control valve. Before installing the control valve, make sure that the
specifications indicated on the nameplate conform to the conditions of use. The nameplate
also indicates the product number (PROD.NO.) of the control valve. Please mention this
number also when consulting your Azbil Corporation agent for parts replacement or any
other modification of the control valve.
