Setting the cutting height
Take out two supports in a bag from carton, and lift the rear discharge guard, install the two
supports which can hold the rear discharge guard, and this can make the grass out more
efficiently from the deck.
Always use fresh, clean, unleaded petrol and fill the tank using a clean funnel. Never fill
the tank completely.
Always leave at least 13mm below the bottom of the filler neck to allow for expansion.
Clean up any overflow or splashes of petrol before starting the engine. Do not fill the tank
indoors, or in a poorly ventilated area.
Petrol fumes are in flammable and dangerous.
Never open the filler cap, or fill the tank, if the engine is still hot after use. Do not smoke
when filling the tank, using the machine, or when petrol is present in the work area.
Ensure that you securely tighten the filler cap after filling.
Filling with motor oil
WARNING!CAUTION! The mower is supplied with no oil in the engine. It is essential
to add oil before starting the engine for the first time.
– Remove the oil label,unscrew the motor oil filling bolt and remove it.

Carefully pour in motor oil (approx. 600 ml). Avoid spilling!

Check the oil level. The oil level must between the min and max marks on the dipstick.
(see fig.9) If near the lower level, fill to upper level.

Tighten the motor oil filling bolt again by hand.
Warning! Wait until the motor stops before adjusting height, the blades continue to
rotate for a few seconds after the machine is switched off, a rotating blade can cause injury.
For the first cut of the season, a high cutting adjustment should be selected.
The cutting height can be selected within 6 cutting height by adjusting the handle.
Setting the cutting height: (Fig.10):
1. Take hold of the height adjustment handle, move the handle outwards to release it from
its locating notch.
2. Move the handle towards the front of the machine to increase the cutting height, and
towards the rear to reduce the cutting height.
3. Return the handle to the locating notch to set the desired cutting height.
4. Make sure the handle fits snugly and securely into its holder.

Tips:
For long grass, start mowing with the highest setting and then gradually reduce the
height of cut.
Start the unit
Do not start the unit until it has been completely assembled.
Before switching on the unit, always checking the oil
Before each switching on of the machine:
Check that the throttle wire is correctly in place.
Check that the wheels are correctly fitted.
Check that the grass bag and the rear cover are correctly fitted.
Apply all these checks regularly.
