Power Management
This item is to select the Power Management mode.
The choice: Standby Mode, HDD Power Down
PM Control by APM
When enabled, an Advanced Power Management device will be
activated to enhance the Max. Power Saving mode and stop the
CPU internal clock. If Advance Power Management (APM) is
installed on the system, selecting
“
Yes
”
gives better power
savings. If the Max. Power Saving is not enabled, this will be
preset to
“ No ” .
Video Off Method
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked.
V/H SYNC +
Blank
This causes the system to turn off the vertical and
horizontal synchronization ports and write blanks
to the video buffer.
DPMS
Select this option if your monitor supports the
Display Power Management Signaling (DPMS)
standard of the Video Electronics Standards to
select video power management values.
Blank
Screen
This option only writes blanks to the video buffer.
Parallel I/O(PIO)?Serial I/O(SIO)/Keyboard(KBD)
When select PIO/SIO enable, any activity from one of the listed
system peripheral devices or IRQs wakes up the system.
Floppy Disk Controller/Hard Disk Contorller
When select enable, any activity from one of the listed
system peripheral devices wakes up the system.
