3.12. Advanced Setup
The settings include the Administrator account. Admission to access EOC 20-01 with specified source IP, and
the protocols like Http/Telnet/Icmp/Snmp in EOC 20-01 management.
3.12.1. Administrator
For each account, 3 level of privilege is provided: ‘Superuser’, ‘Read’, and ‘ReadWrite’ The unchangeable
username ‘admin’ holds the ‘Superuser’ rights always.
To add user account, you need the ‘Superuser’ privilege,
3.12.2. Telnet/Http/Snmp Setup
Specify that if the built-in Telnet server, Web server, and Snmp agent is enabled or not and assign the port
number for the related service.
3.12.3. Allowed Source IP
Factory default filter set for the ‘IP address’ is ‘0.0.0.0’ and the ‘Subnet Mask’ is ‘0.0.0.0’. If the incoming
packet fulfills the following criterion, EOC 20-01 will accept the management packet, else reject it.
( Incoming Source IP Address & Subnet Mask ) = ( IP Address & Subnet Mask )
For the factory default setting, it will accept all incoming packets.
For example, the following filter set permits all Hosts with IP address ‘192.168.1.1~10’ to access and configure
EOC 20-01,
For each programmed filter set, you can further specify if the protocol Telnet/Http/Snmp/Ping is enabled or not.
Be careful not to block your current IP from accessing EOC 20-01 remotely; else you have to press the Reset
Button locally and restart EOC 20-01 from factory default settings.
