8. Remove inspection plate to gain access to the pump vanes and o-ring.

9. Observe the vanes direction and replace the pump vanes and o-ring in the same direction as observed (Figure 8.5).

10. Re-install inspection plate and screws evenly, ensuring screws are just tight enough to compress the o-ring, without

pinching the rotor.

11. Before priming the pump, run the pump to listen for the rotor pinching. The sound would be similar to a loud hum. The

motor will sound under stress. If humming is observed, loosen the screws until rotor is no longer pinched.
