TROUBLESHOOTING
Anomalies
Causes
Remedies
The machine suddenly stops working after long
use
The machine is overheated due to excessive use
and thermal protection intervened
Wait that the LED TERM is off to restat welding
During the welding, the operator feels a tingling in
the hand.
Defective electrical ground system
Check the plug and grounding system of the power supply.
Arc off
Poor contact between earth clamp and workpiece
-) Tighten the earth clamp and the work piece surface and check
-) Clean or replace electrode and gas nozzles
Your unit does not weld correctly.
Polarity error
Check the torch or electrode holder connection (+ or -)
TIG
Instable arc
-Default coming from the tungsten electrode
-Too important gas flow rate
-Use a tungsten electrode with the adequate size
-Reduce gas flow rate
The electrode melts
Polarity error
Check that the earth clamp is really connected to “+”
