HOW
TO
SAVE
ENERGY
Using energy in a
responsible way not only
saves
money but also
helps the environment. So
let’s save energy!
●
Use proper pans for cooking.
A saucepan should never be smaller than
a burner crown.
●
Ensure that the burners, the grate ,and
the hob are clean.
Soiling can prevent heat transfer and, when
left alone, can often only be removed by
cleaning products which are harmful to the
environment.
In particular, pay careful attention to the
flame opening in the rings under burner
.

Do not uncover pans or open the oven
door more than necessary during cooking.
Only use the oven when cooking larger
7
dishes.
Meat of up to 1 kg can be prepared more
economically in a pan on the cooker burner.
Make use of residual heat from the oven.
if the cooking time is greater than 40
minutes, it is recommended to switch off
the oven 10 minutes before the end time.
Make sure the oven door is properly
closed.
Heat can leak through spillages on the
door seals. Clean up any spillages
immediately.
Do not install the cooker in the direct
vicinity of refrigerators/freezers.
Otherwise household energy consumption
increases unnecessarily.
