The system is connected with a PC or the

MAGIC DC7/AC1 Keypad

serial RS232 interface and a 1:1 connecting cable. The settings of the COM Port

MAGIC DC7/AC1 Keypad

only supports the baud rate 9600 Baud. There-

fore, please select always the setting

PC & Keypad (9600 Baud)

if you use

the Keypad. Of course, this baud rate can also be used if a PC is connected.

If the PC is used via the RS232 interface, the selected baud rate must match
with the baud rate of the COM port (see also configuration of the RS232 In-
terface, Page 73).
