TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem

Possible cause

On the analogue telephone line no

external connection can be estab-

lished.

If you operate the system with a private branch exchange, a

prefix number must be entered.

A radio signal is received in the

analogue operating mode.

Please check if the POTS line is twisted. The system must be

earthed via the earthing screw.

There is a humming in the ana-

logue operating mode.

Please enable the 50 Hz filter. The humming is injected via the

POTS connection.

The Echo Canceller is not work-

ing.

If you switch callers via a Call-In Centre to the hybrid the Echo

Canceller is possibly adjusted incorrectly. Enable the Echo

Canceller permanently. Please notice that echoes of more than

32 ms cannot be filtered out anymore.
