a circuit preventing the
microprocessor from blocking

w

 SPIDER DUAL is equipped with

a buzzer and a Led to give out an
optical-acoustic signalling (Walk
Test) even if the block is active on
the detector

w

 SPIDER DUAL is equipped with

an anti-mask circuit, capable to
detect any movement within 50
cm from detector

OPERATION

AT POWER UP...

At first supplying SPIDER PA and
SPIDER DUAL remain inhibited for
about 30 seconds, during which both
buzzer and Led emit an intermitting
signalling.
At first supplying, SPIDER PA WS
remains inhibited for about 2 minutes.

ANALYSE OF THE SIGNAL

(SPIDER PA - SPIDER

DUAL)

The signal produced by any single
section is analysed according to
following parameters:

w

Pulse amplitude: if positive, it must

be bigger than a fixed threshold. It
must be smaller if negative.

w

Pulse duration: in order to be

considered as valid, it must fall within
a certain time lapse

w

Distance between the pulses: it is

considered as valid (in double semi-
wave configuration) if at least to
subsequent pulses of opposite sign in
the same section fall within a certain
time lapse.

w

Polarity of the pulses: as the two

PIRs are upside-down one towards the
other, two subsequent pulses of the
same section or two single pulses of
both sections must always be of
opposite sign.
