Network Settings Tips
The AVE-xx30-A supports wired LAN or Wi-Fi configurations
required to
enable Auto Date &Time, Weather
, and Over-
the-Air (OTA)Firmware Updates. You also need to configure
your
LAN
settings to be able to enable TCP/IP control. Here
are some tips to help get you started.
LAN
For a wired connection to either the
Ethernet In
or
Ethernet
Out
port
Here you can assign an IP address and other necessary
network parameters for your display. You can set your
parameters manually by choosing the
Static
option or
automatically via
DHCP,
if available.
Consult your network
administrator to see if DHCP is an option!
WiFi
A Wi-Fi USB adapter is required to enable a Wi-Fi
connection to the AVE-xx30-A display
.
Once a Wi-Fi adapter has been connected to one of the
USB
Accessory ports
on the display, navigate to
Network>WiFi
,
choose your network, and enter the network authentication
to connect to the wireless network.
