Setting up the system

Connecting an auxiliary device

Optional 

AV devices for transmitting images and video can 

be connected to the CA310�

1�  Connect an auxiliary device to the HDMI input and/or 

Composite input� Any device that provides video out-
put and is connected to the system’s HDMI or compos-
ite input can be displayed on the system: digital scope, 
examination camera, video feed from ultra sound, etc��

2�  Ensure the AUX source(s) are appropriately powered 

and turned on to be viewed as the AUX source when 
selected�

NOTE

Both HDMI (high definition) and Composite 
(standard definition) inputs can be connected 
simultaneously� Pressing the AUX button will 
allow you to toggle through the SD source first, 
the HD source second, and then to the default 
(main camera) source�

NOTE

Audio is not transmitted over HDMI� Only video is 
transmitted over HDMI�
