Allowed usage duration
The Allowed usage duration opens a dialog in which you can set time restrictions on
Internet use for the roles you are configuring. You have the option of stipulating
Internet use per month, per week, or differentiating between working days and
weekends. A further dialog lets you stipulate exact weekday usage periods. See
Usage duration .

Usage duration
In the Usage duration window you have the option to stipulate a maximum Internet usage
duration for a user role. Internet usage logs are based on Internet requests lasting a
minimum of 5 minutes. The required maximum surf time for the role can specified per
week, per month or differentiated between working days and weekends.
Limit time of Internet use
This option enables you to restrict the Internet usage duration for all computer users
with assigned roles. If the permitted usage duration is exceeded, websites requested
or accessed by the computer user are blocked. An alert appears in the web browser.
Time limit per week, per month, per day (Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun)
The required usage duration can be adjusted using the slider or the arrow keys to the
right of the input box. You can also enter the usage duration directly in the time fields.
Please note the specific format for the time specification.
