NOTICE
Disconnecting plugs while under voltage will destroy the electronic components
of the valve system.
Large differences in potential occur when disconnecting plugs under voltage,
which can destroy the valve system.
O
Make sure the relevant system component is not under voltage before
assembling the valve system or when connecting and disconnecting plugs.
Improper use

About This Product
Product description
The valve system is a pneumatic valve system with electrical control. With the valve
system you can distribute stored pressure energy to your system components in a
targeted manner, e.g. to control pneumatic cylinders. Thanks to its modular design,
you can implement numerous pneumatic functions in general machine construction.
The valves in the valve system are controlled via the D-Sub multipole plug, the AES
fieldbus coupler, the IO-Link connection, or as single wiring, depending on the
variant.
The valve system serves to control up to 12 valves or 24 solenoid coils.

Assembly
NOTICE
Product damage
Use of incorrect torques during assembly. Insufficient torques can result in leaks.
Excessive torques can damage the components.
O
Comply with the specified torques and tolerances.
NOTICE
Damage to the valve system due to increased self-heating
Continual control (100% period of application) of more than two neighboring
valves can result in an increased risk of leaks.
O
Do not control more than two neighboring valves continually.
The valve system is individually configured. Electrical and pneumatic
accessories are not automatically a part of the scope of delivery. They can be
added to the configuration as needed.
You can find the exact configuration in the Internet configurator under your
order number.

CAUTION
Danger of injury if assembled under pressure or voltage
Assembling when under pressure or electrical voltage can lead to injuries and
damage to the product or system components.
O
Make sure that the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure
before you assemble the product.
O
Protect the system against being switched on.
NOTICE
Damage to the valve system due to improper handling
When removing the valve system from its packaging, the valve system can be
damaged due to bending, especially with long devices.
O
Carefully remove the valve system packaging and provide safeguards against
torsion and bending.
