You may only commission the product if you have determined that the end product (such as
a machine or system) in which the AVENTICS products
are installed meets the country-specific provisions, safety regulations,
and standards for the specific application.

Bus couplers contain components that are sensitive to electrostatic. If they are touched, this
may lead to an electrostatic discharge that could damage or destroy them. Only remove the
device from the ESD protective bag after the potential
has been equalized. Avoid direct contact with electronic components and wear
a ground bracelet.
W
Do not put the valve system into operation before it is completely assembled
as well as correctly wired and tested.
W
Always make sure that the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure before you
install or remove the bus coupler.
W
Dispose of the product in accordance with the currently applicable regulations
in your country.

About This Product
The bus coupler has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. It can be switched to 16 outputs
(default factory setting: 16 outputs).
The bus coupler therefore occupies two or four bus addresses on the sensor actuator bus line
(AS-i network).
