Example:

default-metric

User level: read-write, admin.

You can only access this command in interface mode.
Type 

interface [name]

 at the command prompt to enter interface mode if 

necessary.

Use the 

default metric

 command to set the interface RIP route metric. 

Use the 

no default metric

  command to restore the default value. 

The default metric is 

1

.

The syntax for this command is:

[no] default-metric 

<number>

Example:

disable interface

User level: read-write, admin.

Use the

 command to disables the inband or outband 

interface.
