The last step in assembling the deskphone must be applying power. Apply power
either by plugging the power cord into the power source (local powering) or
plugging the modular line cord into the Ethernet wall jack (IEEE powering).

outage in part of your network.
Figures 1 and 2 provide illustrations to connect cords to jacks on the deskphones covered in
this guide. Use the illustrations and associated procedures as appropriate for deskphone
