Using the Configuration Wizard Screens

Create or Add SNMPv3 User
The Configuration Wizard enables you to select the SNMPv3 user that is used to communicate
with the CM server. You can use an existing SNMPv3 user or create a new SNMPv3 user.

To use an existing SNMPv3 user:
1. Select the Existing SNMPv3 User option.
2. Select the user from the
Select User
drop-down list.
To create a new SNMPv3 user with which to communicate with the CM:
1. Select the New SNMPv3 User option.
2. Enter the user name for the new SNMPv3 user.
3. Enter the SNMPv3 authentication password, and enter it again to verify the password.

The authentication scheme supported by the CM is displayed. This field is
read-only.
4. Enter the SNMPv3 privacy password and enter it again to verify it.
To continue, click Next . The Configuration Wizard continues with the Server Certificate
Verification screen.
