Assigning a line as the executive line

Assigning a line as the executive line

Within a partner group, you can create a connection for another partner telephone
(executive) from your telephone. In this way, for example, a secretary can assign a
line for her boss. To do this, an "Executive line" function key must be set up on the
secretary's telephone.

Press the "EXLN" function key.

Press the key for the partner for whom you want to assign a line. The status

message "Line busy" appears in the display of the partner telephone. The partner
can continue to telephone as usual. You can now

set up a connection for this partner
