6.9 Storage
Uncouple and store the attachment on level ground. The best way to store the attachment is a place where it
is protected from direct sunlight, rain, and extreme temperatures.

Avoid leaving the attachment laying directly on the ground. Place it on blocks of wood or on a pallet, for
example.

Place the multiconnector on to its holder as indicated with an arrow in the figure below. Never leave the
hydraulic connector on the ground.

Make sure that the attachment is secured against all movements during storage.

Never climb on the attachment.
To ensure the stability of the attachment during storage, lay it down on a pallet so that the quick coupling plate
is easily accessible with the loader, as shown in figure below.
Correct storage position:
To ensure the function of the
extension spring during operation,
release the spring or its pretension
for storage as indicated with arrow
(1) in the adjacent figure.
Make sure that hydraulic hoses will
not be left under the attachment.
Place the multiconnector to its
holder as indicated with arrow (2) in
the adjacent figure.
Before winter storage, carefully
clean the cutting head and the
blades, removing all remaining
clippings. Touch up the paint where
needed to prevent rust damage.
