6.5.2 Floating system
For more even cutting performance the Fence
mower is equipped with a floating system. The
floating system allows the cutting head to float
upwards, which makes working on uneven
surfaces considerably easier and more efficient.
There are 4 positions to select for the vertical
position of the cutting head as shown in the
adjacent figure.
6.5.3 Support wheel
The support wheel height can be adjusted by using the plastic sleeves on the vertical axle of the wheel yoke.
The mower does not need to be disconnected from the loader while adjusting the height. To adjust the height:
1.
Lift the attachment slightly off the ground with the loader
and shut down the engine.
2.
Remove the cotter pin from the vertical axle of the yoke.
Pull the wheel off its holder.
3.
Move some plastic sleeves from above the bracket to
below it or vice versa, depending on whether you wish to
raise or lower the mower.
4.
Push the axle back in through the bracket and reinstall
the cotter pin.
There are two thicknesses of plastic
sleeves (10 & 20 mm) for more accurate
adjustment of the operating height.
The correct operating position is reached when the wheel slightly touches the ground. For transport, lift the
support wheel off the ground along with the mower, see page 23. The support wheel can also be tilted up, if
necessary. Make sure to lock the support wheel with lock pin after reaching the desired position. See figure
above.
