6.5.4 Spring release system
The spring tension can be adjusted with the eye
bolt (1). If the tension can't be adjusted enough
with the bolt, there are 3 quick clamping positions
on the bracket (3) to adjust the tension of the
spring (2).
Always loosen the tension of the spring by
loosening the eye bolt (1) first.
WARNING
Risk of ejected parts - Handle spring with care. Tensioned spring can cause injuries if
handled carelessly. Release or reduce spring tension before uncoupling the spring.
6.6 Use on slopes
Using the equipment on inclined terrain and slopes requires extra caution. Watch for holes, bumps, rocks and
other possible hidden obstacles. Uneven terrain could overturn the machine. Use low speed and do not make
sudden changes in speed or direction. Try to use the Fence mower by driving straight up or down the hill, not
across, to avoid excessive side tilting. If the loader stops while driving up a steep slope, first stop the
attachment and then reverse slightly. Exercise extreme caution when moving near ditches or embankments
as the machine could suddenly turn over in case an edge caves in. On 200-series loaders, It is recommended
to use the optional wheel weights for the best stability on uneven terrain.
6.7 Removing a blockage
It is unlikely that the cutting head gets blocked in normal operation. However, when when mowing wet grass
or driving at too high speed, it might get blocked. If blocking occurs, lower driving speed, and also check the
cutting head and clean if necessary. Increase engine RPM to operate the mower at maximum allowed
hydraulic flow.
DANGER
Cutting hazard - Unexpected starting. Clearing a blockage can start the mower
unexpectedly immediately after clearing the blockage, if the auxiliary hydraulics of the
loader is left on.
Always stop the loader by following the safe stopping procedure before going near the
mower. Never reach to the cutting deck if the mower or its blades can move.
To prevent accidents, turn the auxiliary hydraulics control lever of the loader to its neutral
position, shut down the loader engine and release the residual pressure always before
going near the attachment.
