8. TROUBLE-SHOOTING
Search for the source of the fault, and carry out the necessary repairs only after all the necessary SAFETY REGULATIONS as described
have been taken into account.

ALL “RESETTING” ACTIONS, REPAIRS TO THE SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS IN THE LIFT MUST BE
CARRIED OUT BY AUTHORISED PERSONNEL ONLY.
PROBLEMS
POSSIBLE REASONS
REMEDIAL ACTION
•
The lift does not move upward when the lifting
button is pressed
The main switch is off
The fuse has burnt out
•
The lift is overloaded
•
Switch on the main switch
•
Replace the fuse
•
Maintain the weight according to the specifications
•
The switch is not working
•
Replace the switch, and call Autec
•
Fault in the electrical system
•
The direction of rotation of the motor is
wrong
•
Insufficient hydraulic oil

Suction pump is choked

The emergency stop button has been
pressed

Call up the Autec service department

Switch the phase wires

The set of extension pieces ASH-3005/A5 and the set of plates for sliding cars onto and down from the lift type ASLP-3005/A8 can be
supplied on an optional basis along with the ASLP3005 lift. The set of extension hoses is used if the hoses generally supplied do not reach
all the way upto the control cabinet. The plates for sliding cars onto and down from the lift are used in vehicles which have a very low road
holding capability.
