2) Carefully press the spring up and release.

When releasing the spring, take care to ensure that
your fingers won’t get caught.

3) Press the firebox door upward and unhinge it at the

bottom.

18.3 Dismantling the Keramott

1) Open the door.

2) Slightly lift the upper stone on the left side and pull it

down and out.

3) First lift the Keramott tension plate (1) somewhat at

the rear and pull it down and out.

4) Remove the Keramott deflection (2).

5) Take out the remaining Keramott stones in the reverse

order of installation.
