BACKWARD TRACK SELECTOR (
)
This button is used to quickly select the
beginning of a particular track in the
backward direction. With each press of the
button, the next lower track number will be
selected as shown on the display panel.

REPEAT PLAY SELECTOR
During disc play, pressing this button will
select the track or disc Repeat play mode.
To repeat the playback of the present track,
press the button so that the
indication
appears on the display panel. Play of the
selected track will continue to repeat until
the Track Repeat function is canceled by
pressing the button twice so that the
indication disappears.
To repeat the playback of the entire disc,
press the button so that the ALL indication
appears on the display panel. Play of the
disc will continue to repeat until the Disc
Repeat function is canceled by pressing
the button again so that the ALL indication
disappears.

CD STOP SELECTOR (

To stop disc play at any point, press this
button. Press the Play/Pause Selector

to begin disc play again from the first track.

DISC EJECT
Disc play is stopped and the disc is ejected
by pressing this button (nocd will appear on
the display panel). Remove the disc and
insert another disc into the unit (press the
Play/Pause Selector

to begin play of the
new disc) or press the Function Selector

to choose radio or auxiliary input operation.
Discs may be ejected with the ignition
switch on or off.
NOTE: To prevent an ejected disc from
accidentally being damaged, always
remove the disc from the unit. Do
not leave the disc extending from
the disc slot.

AUXILIARY INPUT JACK (AUX)
An audio input jack for use with portable
cassette players is located on the front
control panel. Using an audio patch cable
with standard 1/8” phono plugs (available
at most radio supply stores), attach the
audio output from the cassette player to the
input jack on the unit. By selecting the
auxiliary input mode (
AUX
on display
panel) with the Function Selector
4
, the
cassette player will now operate through
the audio system of the radio using the
volume, tone and balance controls of the
radio for adjustment of the sound.
