ON-OFF SWITCH / VOLUME CONTROL
Turn this knob clockwise to turn the unit on.
Continue rotation until the desired volume
level is obtained. Turn the knob fully
counter-clockwise to turn the unit off.

TONE CONTROL
Turn this knob clockwise to emphasize
treble response, counter-clockwise to
emphasize bass response.

LEFT/RIGHT BALANCE CONTROL
To adjust the left-right speaker balance,
first pull the knob outward until it locks into
position. Turn the knob clockwise to adjust
the balance toward the right speaker(s) or
counter-clockwise to adjust it toward the
left speaker(s). A detent click can be felt at
the center of rotation. After adjusting the
balance as desired, push the knob back in
to return to the volume control position.

FUNCTION (MODE) SELECTOR
AM/FM BAND SELECTOR
This button is used to select the playback
mode (radio, CD or auxiliary input) as well
as the radio band (AM or FM).
With each press of the button, a different
playback mode will be selected as indicated
on the display panel as follows:
FM radio (FM on display)

AM radio
(MW)
à
CD ( )
à
Auxiliary input
( AUX )
à
FM radio.

MANUAL TUNING CONTROL
Turn this knob clockwise to tune upward in
frequency on the band in use, counter-
clockwise to tune downward in frequency.
The frequency to which you are tuned will be
shown in digital form on the display panel.
When tuning in a station, always adjust
the control so that the correct broadcast
