Use "Input volume" to adjust the microphone level.

Speaking into the microphone will cause the "Input level" indicator to move, so you can adjust the input volume
while viewing this indicator.

•

Use "Output volume" to adjust the volume of the computer's speakers and headphone jack. This is different
from adjusting the microphone level.
