The conditions are not always available for ideally positioning a conventional centre speaker. If the CLASSIC
CENTER is too large in terms of depth, for example, there is an option of using a single CLASSIC On-Wall
unit for the centre channel. In doing so, it should be mounted on the wall horizontally below the TV or
viewing screen with the aid of the drilling template.
The CLASSIC On-Wall unit also features an attachment device for this option. If the CLASSIC On-Wall unit is
used as a centre speaker, the tweeter of the loudspeaker should always be on the left-hand side, in order to
ensure good coverage.
In large rooms and where there is also a large viewing distance to the TV or viewing screen, we recommend
using a pair of CLASSIC On-Wall loudspeakers for the centre channel. This ensures particularly even coverage
and always enables sufficient reserves, even at high volumes. In a surround system, the centre channel
quantitatively handles the majority of the sound reproduction. In order to maintain a perfect space panorama,
mount the CLASSIC On-Wall unit to be run through the centre channel as close as possible to the TV or next
to the viewing screen. In this type of configuration, you connect both CLASSIC On-Wall loudspeakers used
as centre speakers to the centre plug jack on your receiver (for more information, please refer to the chapter
„Connecting the loudspeakers“ under Item 5).
CLASSIC On-Wall loudspeakers used for the left and right front channels should have some distance to the TV or
viewing screen, in order to ensure perfect spatial imaging. The ideal configuration is where the front loudspeakers
form an equilateral triangle to the listening position and the distance to each CLASSIC On-Wall unit as
centre speakers is more than 50 centimetres on both sides, in order to ensure perfect spatial reproduction
characteristics.

Surround 5.1 with two CLASSIC On-Wall
Loudspeakers as Centre In large rooms, two
CLASSIC On-Wall units switched in parallel
for the centre channel guarantee a very
homogeneous acoustic alternative to an
individual centre loudspeaker.
Surround 5.1 with two CLASSIC On-Wall Loudspeakers as Centre
Attach the CLASSIC On-Wall loudspeaker
below the television so that the tweeter is on
the left-hand side.
In this configuration, one CLASSIC On-Wall
unit handles the sound reproduction of the centre
channel. This is a particularly good solution if
the TV is also mounted on the wall.
Surround 5.1 with On-Wall Centre
Between the front loudspeakers and
the CLASSIC On-Wall units used
as centre speakers, there should be
a distance of at least 50 or more
centimetres.
