The GPS repeater doesn
’t work – no signal reception:
Please check whether the power supply unit is connected to the
black transmitting unit and whether the red LED light is on.
Please also check, whether the coaxial cable is properly connected
to the outdoor antenna and is not bent or kinked.
The GPS receiver in the
vehicle doesn’t receive a signal – but
there is a signal reception in the building:
Please check whether the system is correctly installed, i.e. if the
receiving antenna is positioned with a clear view of the sky and
whether the distance between transmitting unit and GPS antenna in
the vehicle is not more that 7-8 m.
You can check with a GPS enabled smartphone whether there is a
GPS reception in the parking position of the vehicle.
If your GPS tachograph is positioned on or near the dashboard of
the vehicle, please check whether the transmitter unit is correctly
aligned and in view with the tachograph
To avoid interferences, please note that the transmitting antenna
and/or the repeater must under no circumstances be in direct view
with the outdoor antenna.
