4. Remove any
Installed gateways
by clicking on the
Remove
button and then click
on
OK
.
5. Click the
OK
button again. Windows may ask you to take additional steps at this
point.
6. Finally, restart your PC if you have not already done so.
Configuring Windows 2000 PCs
These instructions assume you are running windows XP with the default interface. If you
are using the Classic Interface, please follow the instructions for Windows 2000.
1. Find the Local Area Connection Status screen by clicking the
Start
button and
then click on
Settings
and then
Control Panel
. From there, double click the
Network and Dial-up Connections
Icon, and finally the
Local Area
Connection
item in the window that opens to see the window below (you may
have several local area connection choices- choose the one that has your Ethernet
adapter in the
Device Name
field):
