Transferring SIM card entries
Where necessary, a SIM card reader is
integrated in the base station. Insert the
SIM card as shown.
You can copy entries from SIM cards to the
directory and vice versa. If the SIM card is
PIN-protected you will be prompted to
enter the PIN before transmission.
If the SIM card is blocked (e.g. as the result
of several wrong PIN entries), you must
first insert the SIM card in your mobile
phone and unblock it with the super PIN
(PUK).

When the SIM card is being used, the
phone cannot be used for any other pur-
pose.
If you have not yet inserted the SIM card
you will be prompted to do so.
You have the following options:

Reminder calls require a time stamp. If you
select a visual signal, then a time stamp is not
required and is automatically set to 00.00.
Caution:

Never insert any metallic objects
(such as coins or knife blades) in the
SIM card slot as otherwise the electri-
cal safety cannot be guaranteed.

Avoid touching the contact surfaces
on the SIM card.

Inserting the SIM card wrongly might
damage it.
u
Do not remove the SIM card during
data transmission.
