AT-OME-TX21-WP-E

Basic Operation

HDCP Information

If a source is transmitting HDCP content to a display that is not HDCP-compatible, then the resulting image on the

display can be “snow”, image flickering, or no picture. Instead, the AT-OME-TX21-WP-E provides source and sink

information when an HDCP-compatiblity problem exists.

For example, in the illustration below, a Blu-ray player HDCP 2.2 source is connected to the AT-OME-TX21-WP-E.

A non-compliant display is connected to a receiver, which is connected to the AT-OME-TX21-WP-E using HDBaseT.

Since the display is unable to receive HDCP content, the following message will be displayed on the screen:

To resolve this issue, replace the display with a HDCP-compliant display. Also note, that if the display device only

supported HDCP 1.4, then a similar message would be displayed. The display device must support the same

version of HDCP which the source is outputting.
