If the exhaust begins to emit white smoke, after
several attempts of starting, do the following:

1. Move the throttle control to the stop position.

2. Slowly pull the starting cable out 5 times.

3. Repeat the starting procedure.

Stopping the machine

NOTICE

Emergency stop: Operate the switch

located on the control panel of the machine.

Release the stop lever and retract the blade
from the groove by turning the lowering handle
counter clockwise.

Turn off the water supply.

3)

Set the engine to idle speed using throttle lever
(A).

4)

Petrol version: stop the engine with the
ON/OFF switch (B).
Diesel version: stop the engine by moving the
the ON/OFF leaver (C) to OFF position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is a basic requirement for the
continued safe and efficient use of the machine.
Follow the maintenance instructions carefully.

Before starting maintenance on the machine, clean
it in order to avoid exposure to hazardous
substances. See “Dust and fume hazard”.

Use only authorised parts. Any damage or
malfunction caused by the use of unauthorised
parts is not covered by warranty or product liability.

When cleaning mechanical parts with solvent,
comply with appropriate health and safety
regulations and ensure there is satisfactory
ventilation.

For major service of the machine, contact the
nearest authorised workshop.

After each service, check that the machine's
vibration level is normal. If not, contact the nearest
authorised workshop.

Every 8 hours of operation

NOTICE

For maintenance of the engine see the

maintenance manual for the engine.

Maintenance routines:

Apply bearing lubricant on the bearings.

Check the oil level for the engine. For the petrol
engines, use motor oil SAE 10W30 with API class
MS, DS, SE or better.

Check the air filter according to the maintenance
manual for the engine. In extremely dusty
conditions check and clean the air filter two to
three times a day.

Replace damaged filters and gaskets.
