Maintenance and repairs:
Before fitting and removing the hydraulic cutter
and/or performing service work on the cutter or
carrier hydraulics, ensure that the hydraulic
system has been depressurized!
(see section 10)
Use Atlas Copco cutter grease to lubricate the tool.
Observe the maintenance schedule and carry out all
the preventive checks listed.
Dismounting the hydraulic cutter:
Dismounting the hydraulic cutter requires the
presence of an assistant, who must be instructed by
the carrier driver. The carrier driver and assistant
should agree beforehand on clear hand signals.
Observe the carrier manufacturer’s safety
regulations.
When putting the carrier out of operation, the carrier
manufacturer’s instructions shall apply.
Caution!
Collect any oil which runs out and dispose of it
correctly.
Please note:
The oil can be very hot. Risk of burns!
Please note:
After cutter operation, oil−bearing parts are very hot.
Risk of burns!
After dismounting store the cutter in such a way that
it cannot fall over.
