8. Cooking time 3-5 minutes according to Your taste or until Golden brown.
Be careful, the cooking process may yield a small amount of
amount of steam.
9. At the end of cooking, carefully open the lid of the waffle
iron and remove the finished waffles with a wooden or plastic spatula. Do not use
sharp or metal objects, as they may damage the non-stick coating of the baking
surfaces.
10. At the end of use, unplug the waffle iron from the wall outlet, let
it cool, remove any remaining cooked food, and put it away.
RECIPES
Belgian waffles
2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, a pinch of salt, 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons sugar,
a pinch of vanilla and cardamom (powder), 4 teaspoons melted unsalted butter, 2
cups milk.
Preparation:
In one bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. In a second bowl, mix the
egg yolks and sugar with a wooden spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved,
then add the vanilla, melted butter and milk, and beat well. Add the egg mixture to
the flour and knead until smooth.
Separately, beat the whites with a mixer until a thick white foam (1-2 minutes), then
gently mix the whites with the dough without whipping. Butter a waffle iron and bake
the waffles until Golden.
Liege waffles
Flour 400 g, egg 2 PCs., milk 140 ml, coarse sugar 180 gr., butter 200 gr., dry yeast
1.5 teaspoons, vanilla sugar 1 package, salt 0.2 teaspoons.
Preparation:
heat Half of the milk a little, to 32-38°C. Add the yeast, cover and leave to rise for
10 minutes.
In the remaining milk, break 2 eggs, add salt and beat well with a whisk.
In a deep bowl, mash the flour together with the butter. Add sugar, milk with yeast
and milk with the eggs, carefully stir with a wooden spoon or electric mixer on low
speed until the state of the sticky dough. Cover and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
On a well-floured work surface, divide the dough into serving balls.
Flatten each ball a little, roll in coarse-grained sugar, then oil the surface, and bake
the waffles until Golden.
Viennese waffles
Sugar 100 gr., flour 350 gr., milk 1 Cup, butter 200 gr., egg 3 PCs., lemon juice 1
teaspoon, baking powder 2 teaspoons.
