Combination Electrode Connection 

 

The  Q45P  may  also  be  used  with  non-amplified  simple  combination  electrodes 
(see  Figure  4).    Note  that  a  wire  jumper  must  be  installed  from  Terminal  3  to 
Terminal  8.    The  user  must  also  select  Sensor  Type

  within  the  Config  Menu 

(see  Section  4.9).    The  maximum  sensor-to-instrument  cable  length  will  be 
severely limited (30-50 feet) with electrodes of this type.  The length will depend 
on  the  specific  electrode  impedance  and  the  quality  of  interconnect  cable
