3.
Connect either two 2x3-pin PCIe™ power connectors, or one 2x3-pin
and one 2x4-pin PCIe™ power connector to the graphics card.
When connecting a 2×3-pin PCIe™ power connector to the 2×4-pin
connection, the connector should cover the 6 pins of the 2×4-pin
connection that are farthest away from the 2×3-pin connection on the
graphics card.
Caution!
For optimal performance, and for ATI Overdrive,
Overclock, and CrossFire™ configurations, for each CrossFire™
graphics card use one 2×3-pin and one 2×4-pin PCIe™ power
connector on a 750 watt or better power supply.
Note: Your computer will beep, possibly show a warning message on
your display, and the boot process will stop if the graphics card is not
correctly connected to the power supply.
4.
Make sure the cables are not interfering with anything inside the
computer (for example, a cooling fan) and replace the computer
cover.
5.
Reconnect any cables you have disconnected and plug in the
computer’s power cord.
6.
Turn on the monitor and then your computer.
