For light specimens (weighting up to 10kg), tension the support-cables until fully straight. For
heavy specimens, adjust the tension on the cables so that, when the specimen is placed over
them, it will only go down about 15 mm from its initial position, as shown below:
If the displacement is less than 15 mm in the case of heavy specimens, the support cables
will be overloaded and may rupture.

Necessary displacement for
