Message counter displays
The message counter usually displays the total
number of memos and incoming messages. See the
list below for explanations of other displays in this
counter.

No messages.

The clock needs to be set. (page 33)

Total number of messages and memos,
or message number currently playing.

(flashing)
Total number of messages and memos.
The number flashes when there are new
(un-reviewed) messages.
After a power failure, the number in the
message counter will flash to indicate the
clock needs to be set.

Current remote access code while setting
(page 35).

(counting)
Elapsed time while recording a memo
(page 37) or announcement up to 90
seconds (page 34).

Memo recording has exceeded the maxi-
mum counter display capacity of 99 sec-
onds.

Memory is full. Messages must be
deleted before new messages can be
recorded.
